Regular Services

In line with the Archbishop of Canterbury's guidance all public worship is suspended until further notice.

On Sundays at 10 am you are invited to light a candle at home, pause, say the Lord's Prayer (alone or with others) and then pray for the community of the Church of the Resurrection & St Barnabas, scattered in Beswick and beyond.

Every day you are also invited to light a candle and place it onto a windowsill. Not only because it's dark out, but as a sign to our neigbours that the light of Christ is shining in the darkness and nothing can overcome it.

Sundays at 10 am

Our main church worship on a Sunday morning is a Eucharist service (Holy Communion). Everyone is welcome to join us.  There are usually activities for children and young people during the service, except on the last Sunday of each month when we all worship together.  Refreshments are served afterwards each week.

Morning Prayer is prayed in the Chapel as follows:

Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9.30 am

There is a short, said service of Holy Communion at midday each Wednesday at 12 noon.
